Went to Best Buy today to look at the iPad, but ended up with another Samsung Tab A (I currently have the Tab A 8.0 2015 version). So glad I made the choice that I did! Picked up TWO, one for me and one for my son!

I just got this tab A today and wow you get a lot for $200 and the build quality looks real nice. I like it so much I just might sell my 2019 iPad Air.

You can add storage to the Samsung tablet. But not the ipad.

So in a nutshell, if you're a gamer then go for the ipad. If you're a media consumer then go for the tab A, but I noticed that the display on Tab A looks better and has far better contrast. No clue whether it's true in reality but from watching the video, it was obvious.

Apple always has good specs for gaming but the lack of an SD card slot kills it for me. I can load up a stack of movies on a 400GB SD card and take the Tab A camping.

I got the Tab A 128gb version a couple months ago on Cyber Monday cheap. I love it. Didn't want to get into Apple's constrictive system. I like android much better. Also being able to add another 512gb with an SD card was a bonus.
