How would you do this method with a small piece like a charcuterie board?

In your video you have a huge advantage from the weight of the table, so you don't have to worry about it sliding around as you rip off the tape

I have made a few holes in a piece of wood which I will be pouring resin but how do I stop the resin from going underneath the wood when I fill the holes.

Love your videos. My son used epoxy on our wood counter tops, the tops look great but our cat jump on one side and left cat prints. How do we get them out? The edges have ripples and some feel like they didn't get enough epoxy on them, can we fix them and how? This is the first time using epoxy. I wanted wood counter tops and wanted something that would protect them. Please help don't know what to do.
