I got married as a 30 year old virgin. I have no regrets. My husband was not a virgin, but he had repented before our wedding. It wasn’t awkward at all for me. Not sure if that’s because of my more advanced age or if it was just my attitude and confidence towards it. But just wanted to give young ladies encouragement that it doesn’t HAVE to be weird, uncomfortable, awkward, or even painful. My wedding night was none of those things. It was the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

this is honestly so comforting. i am only 19, but with my fiance, we just got engaged and he is 20. we are in pre marital christian counseling, and we just started talking about sex. i have a lot of trauma due to rape from my father during my middle school years, so i am terrified of what it will be like. i love how you guys said it is ok to pause and laugh and that it wont be picture perfect because i def was scared that it wont be like movies. our pastor supports us and says our relationship with God and each other are strong, but that my trauma is something that needs to be worked out prior to marriage. i just started therapy for it! i am excited for marriage, and we are planning to get married nov 2024, so a year and a half which is a lot of time to work on my past. i know morgan has briefly mentioned having a bad past relationship, and i dont know if it had to deal with sexual assault or pressure or anything, but i would love tips on how to heal from it if thats what you went through. i love you guys dearly and yall are some of the only people who are transparent about sex in a positive and healthy way!!

My wife and I were both virgins and it was a fun way to conclude the night. Our sex has definitely gotten better, but for the first time there was nothing awkward. I think if you have a healthy view of sex and are good at communicating with your partner, then it’ll be a fun experience

Purity culture made it difficult for me to feel okay about having sex. My husband and I were both virgins and our first time was not as we hoped lol. It was hard to figure out how to position comfortably but we laughed about it. I definitely think it would have been better to wait until the day after the wedding because I was so exhausted from the days events. It isn't a requirement on the wedding night and people need to know that lol. But you should definitely not wait 2 weeks like you said.

This video was so encouraging and pretty adorable actually. If you both don't mind, I ask for your prayers. I'm an older guy who always dreamed of getting married but have started losing hope lately in thinking marriage may not be in God's plan for me. It feels like there are no single godly women left at my age. On the topic of the video, I've resigned to the reality that statistically speaking my future wife will likely not be a virgin if God ever blesses me with a wife. This was actually really sweet. Purity culture and the way I was raised has really kind of trashed sex. It still kind of terrifies me thinking that I am closer than I may think to it. I'm about to be 33 in August and still a virgin. Never even dated. But I am still definitely nervous about it.
