shaving ur face is 100% ur choice and dont feel as if u need to do it bc u saw it on social media 😭😭 it works for some ppl like the gorgeous girl in this video but also doesn’t work for others and can possibly damage ur skin even if you do it right ‼️‼️ always remember to ask a dermatologist or do a spot test before shaving ur entire face just incase it doesn’t work for ur skin

I can never. Even threading my eyebrow makes me breakout.

Use an ice cube after shaving and then pat dry followed by moisturizer. Works like magic!! Don't skip the ice

Guys honestly if you don’t have a lot of facial hair or have facial hair that isn’t noticeable, please don’t do this. It’ll make you break out. Baby hair is there to protect your skin from sun and harsh chemicals. I understand the need for girls with excess facial hair to shave, but girls please, if your hair is barely noticeable please don’t do this because you will breakout. I did once and I still regret it. Save yourselfs the trouble. Plus 2024 is all about normalising facial hair on women!

These comments are crazy. I have PCOS and terrible acne since I was 10. Shaving my face helps me a lot, and I've been doing it for years. Nobody is the same, if it works for others just move along, no need to shame or terrify people.

also, sometimes you gotta realize it’s just not for you. your skin could be more sensitive than others. although you’d like to do it, sometimes it could just not be possible. it IS a form of exfoliation, and not everyone can handle that. also, i’d recommend a flat blade, not the ones that have texture on it, as that could make things worse too. with those you don’t really have to go in back and forth motions as you move the blade down your face. you can just hold your skin tight ti have tension, and glide it down ofc w some sort of serum or aloe. and focus on hydration afterwards! and if you are prone to acne, but don’t have an active breakout while shaving, id recommend just not reusing the blade after two-three times and properly sanitizing.

Inspired after watching all these videos of girls shaving their faces, I decided to give it a try and broke out like crazy. Never again! 😢 Going back to bleaching. Shaving is good if you just have peachy fuzz with clear skin and are not prone to breakouts. If not, stay away from shaving.

If you have sensitive skin but want to shave only do it once a month. Which is what I do. I buy a pack of disposable razors. I make sure to clean it with and alcohol wipe before using it even if it’s new.

I use the maximum strength benzoyl peroxide face wash as shave cream and it has never let me down.

I use a regular razor - mostly my upper lip and to clean up the sides of my face. Never had a breakout, but that’s because I never, ever dry shave (and it’s different for everyone). Some dry shaving vids are enough to break me out just by watching. Your skin is so beautiful!

I've done all of that but still break out. Some skin textures work great with dermablading, some don't. Her skin looks lovley and seems to work well with it

For an easy way one can go with facial trimmers instead of these razor
Benefits of using trimmers instead of razors
1) will not cause any irritations
2) faster method
3) Acne people can use too
4) easy handle can use anywhere

I used to breakout until I figured out that I needed to immediately use a mud mask and then toner and aloe Vera or olive oil bcuz you’re stripping all your oils off and you don’t want an overproduction to compensate so you have to use a good moisturizer to let your skin know to produce only what’s needed. Hope this helps🧴

Hair is protecting the skin, you’d have to protect your skin with products and facial routines a lot more if you shave the hair off and that’s just an unnecessary hassle unless you actually want to invest the time and energy for all that

My skin is very sensitive and due to trend i started doing "skin care" around 2019 Over time my skin barrier became vulnerable and around 2022 i started getting cystic acne.. It took me 4 months later to figure out that my skin barriee needs to be restored and i stopped using face washes and actives... Using a soap now which is dirt cheap and my skin barrier is 80% restored... I rarely get pimples and i still have some acne scars and PIE from before. Before using the soap i shave my face and then i wash my face. If i wash my face dry it and then shave i noticed i would get pimples the next day.. Cleaning my face and keeping it fresh after shaving has helped me a lot

Guy here, I use a straight edge to shave and after I’m done my face is a bit irritated so I put on a cooling mask, I keep those in the refrigerator and after 15 minutes my skin is good
