I didn't know the son had made a post. Wow. The son is right. The mother just wanted to make herself feel better, or at least not feel that guilty anymore, all while ignoring her kids' suffering. Meaning she failed as a woman, as a wife, and as a mother. What qualities could she have left that she thinks she can have her family back?

Theres another update from the son in his comments, but I'll keep it simple:
-The father is doing better, working with old clients, and is in a support group. He's also dating the ex-wife of the mother's affair partner and that its getting "hot and heavy". She is also pregnant with his kid.
-The brother who turned to alcoholic is in AA and doing better (Thanks to the help of the father) and the sisters are doing better too, even making honors.
- The mother has stopped trying to contact the father. The son is civil towards her but still has anger, but it seems like the family, including the uncle, is talking to her again.
-The son is "lost" as he had to adjust of no longer being "The man of the house" and no longer the one to take care of the siblings as the father is stepping up that role so the son can focus on himself. He did decide to spoil himself for once and go to the Virgin Islands for spring break.

This story is a key example of how you can't just listen to the OP and believe them simply because they are the story teller. Often times the story teller is the biggest liar in the story.

Every time i read this story it always hurts so much.
That woman had EVERYTHING a woman wants in a men. Loyal, caring, amazing husband and father for her kids. After 20 years he still looked her like the first time. And what she does in return? She took him for granted, got bored and decided to cheat on that men. And then he went to jail.
And then her sons response... Bro. I cant even imagine the pain those kids had to endure.

Bro!! She deserves everything it come to her. And that men, and the kids deserve the world.

This is literally what people who want to cheat, should read. That's what exactly what happen when someone DECIDES to cheat. The whole family suffers, including her and his family as well.
