Summary:
- Use stories and analogies to help people visualize and resonate with your message
- Assume the person in front of you is five years old and break down the steps in detail
- PRACTICE. PRACTICE. PRACTICE.

One thing that I find funny about Ruff's videos is that he will never tell you something that you did not know but he explains it in such a manner, articulates it in such a manner that the importance of that thing becomes evident.

Haha, the tips in this video is so real, specially the one about practice!
I've always been told to do introductions for the projects that I'm a part of and most of the time, I follow that method of reciting my script over and over again subconsciously. I think my social anxiety was partly responsible for it because I hated the thought of being embarrassed in front of a large group of people.
One incident I can recall which was like my one moment where that fear of embarrassment actually faded a lot is back in 8th grade, I had given an audition to be an orator for an assembly my class was meant to do in a week. I got picked and I'd been practicing a lot the entire week before going to bed, in front of a mirror, in front of my family, in front of my friends on a call, just about any time I could. I ended up forgetting my script on the breakfast table before leaving for school the day the assembly was supposed to take place and had no script to refer to. I got scolded by teacher too that day ahaha, it was just the worst. I was in a lot of pressure because I forgot my script and no one had a spare, but when the assembly actually started, I was able to perfectly recall the entire script and the assembly was all in all good lol. I got a lot of praises from my teacher right after it saying it was perfect. When I told the people who were in the audience about the incident, they genuinely refused to believe me till one of my friends (who was a part of it and knew that I'd forgotten my script) stepped up and told them. It's a day I recall a lot because that day, although I'd been under a lot of pressure from the entire team of people in the assembly and my teacher, I'd been able to pull through. Practice definitely makes perfect

This is a really good perspective on articulation. I’ve spent most of my time on presentations just focusing on delivering a script that vaguely explains each point that normally leaves more than half of the class without an once of understanding. And for a lot of time, I just didn’t think it mattered considering the grade gap but now you really put into perspective the necessity of the audience to actually resonate and learn such concepts not for the sake of building a better image, but for your actual authentic understanding of these topics in ways to reflect your effort.

Hey Ruff, I'm a 14 year old, about to turn 15.I have to give O'levels in 2.5 years and I'm studying for it but subjects like mathematics and physics really get the better of me.Would you please give some advice on how to crush these subjects and feel that it's easy.
