He turned a 19 month sentence into a potential life term. What an idiot..

He wouldn't have stopped attacking her if it weren't for everyone trying to help.

The excuses they make for him is exactly why he is the way he is. Never held accountable.

If he can snap and attack a judge then he could attack ANYONE! He needs to stay in jail for the public’s safety!

if 5 cops have to escort you alone to court while being shackled like a dog, you're probably getting a lot of time in prison.

This is what happens when you have a court system that protects the criminal instead of the victims. Like a spoiled toddler who’s never received a punishment, he lost it when he was FINALLY given jail time.

Sister: The system didn't fail your brother. Your family failed him, and as an adult, he failed himself. It's time to take accountability.

If he is so mentally ill (per his family) that he has multiple felonies and misdemeanors, failed multiple chances in mental health court, and cannot control his rage that he launched himself over the court bench to attack a judge, he CANNOT be trusted in general public any longer.

The women he beat throughout his life are finally getting justice.

"Deep inside he's a good person." That's a problem, it's too deep. On the surface he is a scary living menace.

Prisons are not just for punishment, they also serve as a way to keep dangerous people away from the public.

A good person doesn't have multiple charges of violence heaped upon them. His enabling family thinks he can be helped if he's around other "good people" for a few days. The truly good people need to be protected from this violent, manipulative multiple offender.

His lawyer told him to throw himself on the mercy of the court, but he completely misunderstood

So sickening to watch his family make excuses and blame "the system" for this level of behavior

he’s facing 40 years on the attempted murder alone.

Being born addicted doesn’t mean you’re ruined for life. Plenty of people born addicted live absolutely normal lives.

The attempt murder that some are struggling to understand is due to something that wasn’t picked up on the general court mic when he attacked the judge.
As he was pummeling her he said “you don’t disrespect me, now you’re going to die for it”.
Its more than enough to assess his intent was to kill her, not hurt her.

The system failed him? His mother and father failed him!!

Sister and mother (summarized): "We do not condone his actions BUT we justify them since the judge triggered him (her fault), the system failed him (its fault), he felt betrayed (poor him) AND the bailiff injured himself (his own fault). Plus during the murder attempt, the mother was shouting "Don't kill him" not "Stop, don't kill her!"

This man proved exactly why the previous judge wanted to send him to jail. He’s a very dangerous person and we ALL saw it in 4k. I hope we learned something, no matter how upset you get in a situation. Especially in court you cannot act a fool and this was beyond that. I hope tons in younger people see this and know you will not get away with a slap on the wrist.
