The man who attacked a judge in court now faces an attempted murder charge. Deobra Redden appeared before a new judge after he jumped the bench and violently punched Judge Holthus.

The attempt murder that some are struggling to understand is due to something that wasn’t picked up on the general court mic when he attacked the judge.
As he was pummeling her he said “you don’t disrespect me, now you’re going to die for it”.
Its more than enough to assess his intent was to kill her, not hurt her.

This man proved exactly why the previous judge wanted to send him to jail. He’s a very dangerous person and we ALL saw it in 4k. I hope we learned something, no matter how upset you get in a situation. Especially in court you cannot act a fool and this was beyond that. I hope tons in younger people see this and know you will not get away with a slap on the wrist.
