2ft tank ledzeal.com x200 3ft x300. Could do x200 on either. Run each channel at 25% max and fans wont even come on. They dont kick on until you hit 45%.
Jebao make gyre pumps too!

Great episode, thanks. Up to what size tank would water changes as the primary nutrient export be feasible? How much would you recommend per week?

Moki for your 30" eel garden, if you curved the bottom jelly fish tank style and got the flow in a circular motion the food would recirculate giving the mps and eels more chance to feed and less chance to settle and affect nutrient balance

What light is he referring to at 21:00?

33:30. I have two ReefWaves on my back wall (reefer250) highly recommend. Small footprint. Flow is great. Good luck.

Hey dev, inappropriate reefer, I have also done the automatic feeder with my return pump. I use one of those magnetic fish floating rings placed right over my return pump, once food becomes saturated falls right into it never had an issue works like a champ. I also have a blue throat trigger fish, model citizen with Coral‘s. I do agree they are jumpers and would definitely recommend a top. Had one gets spooked during feeding and jumped, hit my top but couldn’t find him anywhere inside or outside the tank. I had thought he pushed through the screen top, only to eventually find him in my shadow overflow box. That box is so thin that I can’t get my hands in there. Solution was to plug the external bulkhead and let it flood but not to long to flood the whole tank eventually he floated up to where I can get him. And by the way if they bite they hurt LOL, That was six months ago and he’s doing fine still but definitely get a top first.

My cobalt neotherm blew up on me and spewed resin all over my sump and nearly nuked my tank. Ill never buy one again. Buy a titanium and plug it into a controller. If the titanium fails you will catch it and the controller will save you. No controller will save you from a heater blowing up and black gunk going into your tank.

1:10:00 - The Georgia Aquarium has a tank very similar to what you're talking about - an eel living right inside of a ton of sun corals. It's a gorgeous tank and I have pictures of it as my desktop background right now haha

I have always ruined my Budget tanks.. I always go overboard..lol. My son has a Budget tank and he's killing it.. He's 11 and so much more financially sound when it comes to his aquarium then me..

I like the content but this time....all over the place. Pick topic....plan about topic. Jumping all over the place in this one. Kind of hard to listen too for very long.

I skipped this episode, weird that you have Moki talking about a budget tank when he had his Gear given to him...
