OMG, Thank you soooo much. I’ve had this in my drawer for decades. Every time I move I bring it with me my grandma gave it to me when I got my first apartment. Today I had to google how to use it as I couldn’t locate my normal one as my teenager has been in my kitchen

I was given one of these about 15 years ago by my grandfather for camping and always struggled to know how to use it. Like a lot of my old camping stuff I got from him, it was probably part of his military kit from WWII/Korea.
Usually after about 10 minutes of fidgeting with it I'd make it work and then forget how to use it again on a camping trip down the line. Thanks for this great little video!

Uh it actually is BETTER than the new ones. This cuts much closer and doesnt leave a sharp petruding rim for the lid to get stuck on.

thanks. i can't find my regular manual can opener because i just moved. I did find my grandma's little camping can opener from the 50s like this and could not figure out how to use it lol. Thanks again
