Well the iPad 10th Generation isn’t all that bad if you’re not an Apple Pencil user and you have patience for charging. This is coming from an iPad 10 user and I really like my iPad because it is still super affordable and you get a lot from it, like an almost edge to edge display, Touch ID, and a high quality camera. Nothing more you could ask for if you were an average person, or if you’re a child.

As an iPad user for 5 years, I use generic Bluetooth accessories {glad to see that you mentioned this, but only for the keyboard}. I've found that my $17.29 simple Bluetooth ePens work (& draw) far better & has a straightforward USB-C connector; 10min. full charge.

The only reason why I am gonna buy this iPad 10 is the new placemat of the camera. I have video calls every day. Can’t deal with the portrait mode.

For the glare, Can't you just use paperlike's screen protector, it minimizes glare right? I think that would be a perfect solution. Not that it will completely resolve the problem but it helps right?

The 10th gen is identical to air. And I see why it has an appeal. Those bright colors attract consumers. #2 and iPad air 256 gb costs 815 bucks after tax. The iPad 10th gen in 256 gb is 650 after tax. The iPad 10 is almost identical to the air. The only thing it's missing is apple pencil gen 2 support and a laminated screen. Other than that, no one can tell the difference between the two. It has the same display and camera cut out. I think the 10th gen is not a bad buy. Why spend 800 bucks and more for an iPad. If I already own an MacBook ya know. Realistically its not a bad move from an apple. It's just that they did it the wrong time and have too many ipads in the line up. Hence why it's hard for the 10th gen to be a budget iPad. Yes y'all can say just buy a reburished iPad, but understand not everyones into that.

It's still better than the 9th gen iPad, cheaper than the iPad Air, and bigger than the iPad Mini.

The only reason this isn't a better choice for someone just looking for a bigger screen is going for some variation of a renewed iPad Pro between $200-400 on ebay or amazon. Or an iPad Air 4th gen which can be found for a bit less than a new 10th gen.

I think the reason people decided to hate on it was Apple's weird decision to keep selling the 9th gen as new because the newer one isn't replacing its cheaper predecessor.

Man, this iPad is in a weird spot, on one hand it’s a great tablet, but the execution is just wrong. it’s too similar to the fourth generation iPad Air, not to mention there’s still selling the ninth generation from last year also it got more expensive. we will have to see what happens to this iPad next year.

Personally as a apple user for 3 years with the iPad 6th gen and having the first gen Apple pencil I am kind of happy that they went with the first gen Apple pencil compatibility that way I don't need to spend another $150 on a new apple pencil. It may be inconvenient to some but, if you bought a Apple pencil 1st gen I'm pretty sure it comes with one of those connector things. AND you can actually use it while it is charging so...

The 10th gen iPad only has one thing wrong about it the Apple Pencil one but thats it I think people are overreacting about this it’s not the end of the world

If they dropped the price to $399, gave it Apple Pencil 2 support and dropped the iPad 9 then the iPad 10 would be far better in my opinion. Also they should add a space grey option just like all the other models

I have an I pad pro 12.9 pro 6th gen had the 5th gen, have had the I pad gen 8 also and I have the 10th and I absolutely love it I enjoy watching movies on it particularly because of the size of the 12.9 is just too big to carry around.

This will be my first IPad... I could not care less about the pencil or the keyboard. All a, going to use it for is the video streaming, services and that's it so it's plenty good enough for me I got it for £357 not bad from when it first came out. I haven't used it yet as it's still on my desk ready to unbox but am expecting a good experience for what I personally need it for
