A Chinese Muslim scholar commented once: “life is not life and death is not death”. When asked to expound upon this esoteric statement, he said: life is not life because it has death and death is not death because it is merely a transition to the eternal existence.

Today I was surrounded by atheists as we discussed about religion. The only reason they don't believe in God is that there is no proof. So I replied. "Is everything around you not enough? Is it all the result of chance?"
Answer: "Yes and after death there is nothing" then I asked them "If tomorrow an angel came flying and everyone would see this angel, would you believe in the existence of God? Answer "I don't know".
I said "So how can we measure the evidence? What proof would you like? What proof is sufficient?
Answer: "Let's change the subject"
Then, when I got home, I remembered that in the Koran there was a quote about those who did not even believe if Angels came down.
I didn't notice when I used that example to the people I was discussing with.
"Even if We had sent angels down to them and the dead had spoken to them, and even if We had assembled before them all the things, face to face, they would still not believe unless it be Allah's will that they believe. Most of them behave in utter ignorance." Surah 6 Al-An'am Ayat 111.

SubhanAllah, May Allah (SWT) guide us.
