I owned an Acer Nitro 5 (the laptop in the video)

He has the setting called "fast boot" enabled in the bios settings. It's like sleep/hibernate where the computer is not fully turned off. It also prioritizes certain boot parameters over others and error checking. This means the computer will boot faster, but if there is an issue booting you'll have to restart the computer. It's kind of a pointless feature since it's essentially the same thing as sleep mode.

Starting your computer from sleep mode isn't impressing.
