The Freewing Glue is contact glue, use a thin coat on both surfaces fit the parts together pull them apart and let the glue dry a while, 1 minute, and press the parts in place. Jeff in LA USA

I really appreciate your reviews! Brutal honesty is why I watch your videos. I have purchased RC aircraft based on videos such as this or know what to avoid. In this day and age this was a stupid risk in that companies part. I would spend the extra to get a better RTF. I also watched the other review with the two A10s, even with the model like aesthetics I would rather spend more to be in the air versus having to spend money to fix a flawed model!

Great video. Definitely don't be scared to try other freewing stuff . I'd love to see more freewing stuff on your channel! That A-10 has to be the worst I've seen from them by watching other videos of it . But freewing stuff is usually great. I have several. You would love the t-33 it flies awesome and the f-22 raptor 90mm . But your video could definitely help inform people on the bad ones .
Thanks again!!

Latest coming out of motion is.... set the elevator to 5mm up above the datum mark printed into the foam.... put the CoG at 45mm not 55mm; and if you have to add around 2 ounce of weight in the nose. With regards to the spaghetti wiring i have seen worse. Glad I saw this before I maiden mine. Thanks for insight.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with motionrc and one of my favorite planes is the freewing 80mm Avanti v2. Sometimes a model is a miss but freewing has more hits than misses.

That's by far, in my opinion, the BEST LOOKING A-10 I've ever seen, and remember, sometimes it takes a few flights to dial in a new bird.
How you brought it down in one piece, on 'a wing & a prayer, ' has me convinced it just needs to be stripped of ordinance & well CG'd

So don't give up on it Nate, it wants to fly.... & so do you!

More motion RC please. I fly a lot of their planes especially along with Horizon and have had great results. I m just getting ready to maiden my 80 mm A-10 from Freewing. I hope mine goes better. Their F22, and Avanti’s are excellent.

Do you balance your planes first, or just slap a battery in and hope it works?

I genuinely appreciate that you bring enthusiasm for the RC hobby to a wide audience, and make things seem simple, easy, and approachable. The hobby has gone through massive changes over the past 20 years, and it truly is easier than ever. WITH THAT SAID: I really think it would benefit your viewers to dig a little deeper once in a while in a situation like this. The manual for this aircraft specifies a CG range that is less than a quarter of an inch. Use this as an opportunity to show how it's done! Warbirds/scale models in particular can be really sensitive to improper setup, and as your viewers transition into larger, more expensive, and more complicated airframes, they need to know how to do so safely and properly. It's important to check the CG and make it right before that maiden. Pushing the battery forward may not be enough - maybe it needs lead shoved into the nose foam. Part of a review is showing whatever extra work you had to go through to make the model right for the maiden - and it's of benefit to your viewers. Sure, the eflite A10 is better; but there is still plenty to learn and gain from this model - and maybe with a little more time invested, it just might be a fine flying model with scale flight performance to back up it's looks. Kick it up a notch and let's find out!

From my personal experience by helping my friend build it. The build wasn’t that bad. But was also not on par with eflite or fms. And the flight went very good so it must be quality control or just user error

8:35 SHEESH!! That was a nailbiter you guys!!
2nd flight not much better.. It is a handsome looking model though. You didn't even try the flaps! (Like you had time to)
Would LOVE to see more Motion RC products! They seem to have some pretty cool items on their site for sure. Good looking planes.

I had the first version of this plane for my first Edf. It did the exact same thing yours did on that first take off. I could only keep it in the air for about 15 seconds before it went smashing into the ground. I was crushed and stopped flying for awhile cause after that experience I thought It was my fault and decided rc plane wasn’t for me. After watching this video, I might try and get back into the hobby.
Love y’all’s videos!

Not trying to be negative, but did you not check CG before maiden?! Or was the stated CG in the instructions incorrect? Because that sure looked tailheavy.

Not sure what receiver you’re using, but definitely looked spectrum. If it has AS3X/SAFE, you can’t just throw it around in there after programming and expect it to work correctly. Also if you were holding up elevator, I would think it’s nose heavy, not tail heavy. The way it looked to be nose diving definitely seemed that way 🤷‍♂️. Also the freewing glue is my favorite foam glue. It just needs to be used correctly. Not the entire tube squeezed into one vertical stab.

I would be interested in yall trying some of their new 64mm lineup. I know you have had issues in the past with Motion RC, but the things getting more and more expensive there a company still offering good-looking planes for the price. Yall make great and honest content and think a lot of people want unbiased videos on Motions products.
