I'm a Titanic Enthusiast, and when the ship hit the berg, it didn't tear a gash, more of a series of bumps and indentations

Facts you didn’t know already:
1.) Titanic was rarely photographed because it was the same as the lead ship in her class Olympic. Most pictures of Titanic are actually early photo shopped pictures of Olympic.

2.) Titanic had only one more port hole than Olympic because one of the engineers thought it would get to hot in the fireman’s kitchen. So they just took the port hole puncher and cut another window into the side.

3.) Titanic Sank.

Here is some facts about titanic. Titanic began its voyage to New York from Southampton. It launched in 1912 April. On April 14th 1912 they tried to turn to the starboard (left).that would float with 1 to 4 compartments. But titanic hit 5. 5 flooded into the 6 to 7 to 8 compartment. Titanic sank in 1/2 hours. Titanic hit an ice burg around 11 to 12. 1, 500 lost there lives and more. With only leading to 706 survivors of titanic. In the morning of April 15th Carpathia arrived to safe the lifeboats. Some waited to live, or die.

As most people said it wasn't a massive gash it was a series of small indentations. Second the ship didn't sail from England it sailed from Ireland. And third it could have survived if only four compartments were punctured. And four most people didn't know where to go because the crew didn't do a life boat drill and five the electrical system only failed because it used steam power to power the electrical system. With no steam pressure no power.
