The Aussie guru I never knew I needed! Not but seriously dude, loving your content for a while now and this video hits home. You make self-help tangible an doable and challenge my inner perfectionist. Keep it up!

One of the biggest obstacles for so many people is that we get discouraged by the small failures but what we don't realize is that small failures means we're also making small wins. Be proud of that.

One thing I'd add is to enlist an accountability group or partner, having people with you turns it from a struggle into a journey. Wishing everyone a successful 2022 ✌️

The wisest decision I made was TAKE YOUR ADVICE! I’ve turned my art business profitable and been in three magazines including one cover. Just about every new person I meet locally has “heard” of me already. Which is super cool and weird. And I credit you all the time.

You are always so spot on with your analyses, it's such a "I feel seen" experience every time I watch your videos. The way you described the "good you vs. bad you" really hit home. I wanted to start 2022 with as much positive energy as I could, yet I seem to have tripped already in one of those bad phases – avoidant, don't want to participate in life, just want to hide under a blanket and not talk to anyone or do anything, drowning in anxiety. It's been very discouraging and I definitely needed to hear some of these practical steps. It may take a while to get out of this funk, but it doesn't mean I can't make positive, valuable changes in my life when I start to feel better. thank you

Thank you for making videos like this. They're so accessible and relatable and inspiring.

Your realistic, HUMAN alternative to "hustle culture" really helps to take some of the pressure off us recovering perfectionists who are still learning to decouple our self-esteem from our productivity.

I also dig your approach to making art vs. "content" and am definitely going to apply your "one for them, one for me" tip to my work going forward.

perfectionism has always been a huge obstacle for me--in terms of resolutions, if I didn't start the habit on January 1st I'd never start, and then first day I fell off with any habits I did start off the year with, it was the last day I'd do them. definitely trying to focus on a) letting go of perfectionism, and b) setting up systems so that my bad days won't completely derail me

I said this on your last vid and probably loads of your other vids too, but damn man. Your videos always come right when I need them. I'm definitely going to do the yearly compass, thank you!

Thank you for your continuous support with these videos. There are literally millions of us with you and you're helping us all. Please don't read that as an obligation and get bogged down with imposter syndrome though, because it's not the videos, it's not the work, it's you as a person. Selfless Struthless. Keep being bloody amazing <3

I’m in my 30’s, but I’m now just starting to realize how perfectionism has negatively affected my life… not only from feeling bad about myself when I don’t complete projects perfectly, but also in the way that I stop doing things if I don’t have the perfect environment to do them in. For example exercising; I have a small living space that’s cluttered with inventory etc. for my small business, and I kept thinking oh I’ll just wait to start an exercise routine when I have more space… but now I’m trying to focus on what I can do even if I can’t do it perfectly. So, looking up exercise videos for small spaces. That’s going to be a huge shift for me this year.

I never usually comment on videos BUT. Your channel is the only channel that resonates with my personality and how realistic you goal setting is. I've been struggling with improving my habits and your videos are definitely helping me SO much to reframe things in my life. Please never stop posting things!

this is one of the most well rounded self-improvement videos i've ever watched. i feel like you've found the perfect balance and harmony of being supportive and encouraging, while also acknowledging and validating the difficulties we all seem to deal with. thank youuuu Campbell!

I have no idea what I want 2022 to look like, I am struggling to figure out what I want and where I want to be. But I always love these kinds of videos regardless. I will definetly have to look into the book you mentioned and the Compass!

Mannn, as a lost 21 yo, I really enjoy your videos. This niche isnt filled, so I feel like you’re doing amazing and tapping an unfilled marketplace when it comes to this content. Keep it up! A video about how to be comfortable being alone is dope!

I’ve just realised one of the things that makes your videos SO good. Many say that on social medias people just show the best part of their lives, but what they usually mean with that is just the “fun stuff” like parties and holidays. This, though, applies to productivity YouTubers as well! We usually see them as someone that ALWAYS has everything under control and that makes sense, because they want to inspire you to become better. However, being honest and showing your defects actually makes you have more impact, because ewe feel like we’re walking together along the same path and sets realistic expectations for us to follow.
Thank you for your videos man!
