I tried something else. My Wi-Fi connection was still on while having the Ethernet plugged in. As soon as I manually disabled the Wifi, my internet speed jumped to full speed (from 3Mbps to 100Mbps). Hope this helps someone else.

You are showing how to turn *on* metered connection while telling people to turn it off??? How is your DNS settings going to slow down your internet connection (it can only slow down the initial connection)? None of your suggestions worked, but thanks for the effort. I use CAT-6 cables and a 1Gbit switch, but only my NAS is able to get 1000Mbit/s speeds – not my high-end PC running Windows 11.
