They love to move PSE’s around a lot! It gets a bit annoying lol I’ve been a pse for 2 years / two months and I’m finally getting converted! Y’all stick it out. Take your time working even if they rush you. There’s always a way to work at a good paced and have your numbers good. Don’t let them take advantage of you. union Stewart’s are helpful too. Good luck guys

I've been working with usps for almost a month now and I've had only two days off and all 12 hour shifts but I love it. It keeps me busy which is what i have been looking for in a career. I hope to be working with the usps for the next at least 30 years

I was a PSE at the Statesboro post office. The biggest problem was most of the staff had horrible attitudes. They treat new people like crap. If you asked a question they would act like they could not hear you or they would give you an attitude or make a negative comment about you. I was working 6 days a week and around 60 hours a week and I would usually work from 5 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. during the week and then 5:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m on my weekend shift. When you are working in the back with packages you do not get a 15-minute break. You might get a 15 minute break as a clerk on the window. It's a physical job, and you have to be there early, and it's long hours, but the worst part was that most of the staff there had a horrible attitude.

Wow! I’m a 33-year USPS employee. I’m in management now at the plant, but I was a clerk for thirty years in two different plants and at a delivery unit. You explained your duties well and you have learned the postal “lingo” very quickly. I enjoyed your video. Your video came up on my YouTube feed and I was interested in what you had to say. Good work and Happy Holidays.

All the information you are giving is good I was a pse for 2 and half years and then moved over to a cca . So for the past five years I have done both jobs and it’s al hard at first but the future is bright for everyone who keeps going with it and now I am a full time carrier. So Good Luck to You and everyone who wants a great career in the Post Office.

This video and comments are so helpful! My husband just got offered a job as a PSE Clerk, and it looks like you work pretty much 6 days as week between 8-12 hours a day. No family life, and you get tossed around until you are a career, which takes years. He was so excited to accept the offer but after reading everyone's comment and experience -- its a bit disheartening. He might need to go back to his old career.

I just turned 30 years old and I would like to try something new...I've been a dishwasher for the past five years so I'm gonna apply !! Thank you for this video. It's weird but I love dish washing, it's just that you get so little in return : (

I had job opportunities at the usps but I’m a single dad and my time with my son is very important… from what I hear you only have one day off and work atleast 10hrs a day …I think it would be good for single no kid ppl or married two parent house hold ppl

I saw from Facebook that the USPS is hiring now. Then I saw what are the positions. I searched first what are those. I am 4'11" only. I think we have same built. I am working at the Walmart as SCO Front End/Cashier... I am thinking to try USPS. Your video gave me a gut to pursue this. Thanks!

Is the work hard working in the station as a PSE? Do you have to work the window? Do you give you a set work schedule at one station or do you get split shifts and work at where they need you to help out?

Isn't it a conflict of interest, what company has its own union, paying their own employees to represent union members paying monthly $60 union dues, gaining no money for winning grievances, when you can, for free, file an EEO within 45 days of Usps offenses, winning up to $300, 000. for discrimination and up to $4 million for retaliation?
Usps union is complicit with Usps management, with patterns of unfair labor practices, racism, retaliation against whistleblowers, also discrimination and retaliation against injured on duty disabled employees! See McConnell vs Usps, ( found guilty for discrimination against 23, 000 injured on duty disabled employees, since 2005 national reassessnment program), Pittman vs Usps, Glover vs Usps, and many, many more cases for decades!
Past 5 years Usps paid out $5, 631, 795. for sexual harassment.
Exercise your legal rights under federal protection Laws, No Fear act of 2002, prohibited personnel practices, due process, equality act of 2010, civil rights act chapter 7, rehabilitation act of 1973 (504), and disability act.
CYA!!! Don't be duped into paying monthly $60 union dues, = $720 annually, × 30 year career = $21, 600.

Just got my fingerprints today and had to fill out background questionnaire. They said the manager will call me to schedule like a small interview sit down. Then it seems I wait for a start date after the background clears 🤷🏾‍♂️

I have something that will force me to be out of state for a week in November. Would they be cool with this if I got the job?

Is there people still working in the post office on Sunday, I don’t mean delivering the mail, I mean just working in general, like getting mail and all ready for Monday, 🤔just curious 🤔
