Need to change the battery on your Surface Pen? No problem. Follow these steps:

1. Pull the top end straight out from the bottom.
2. Replace the AAAA battery with the positive (+) end of the battery pointing toward the tail end of the pen.
3. Align the flat sides of the pen and push the two parts back together.

Where do you buy more battery's for your pen? do you need some significant type of battery or just normal thin battery's?

I'm so confused as I thought it was charging in it's magnetic place on the side of the surface. It's just now starting to get to low battery, and every time I attach it to the side, when I turn it back on it shows a larger percentage left on the battery. I'll buy some batteries, but it's just confusing that it *seems* to be charging when that is obviously not what is happening.

Thanks, that was simple... I have a Surface Pro 3 with the original pen and had to unscrew it, this is easier for my Surface Go 3.

I have a question regarding my surface laptop.
Can you tell me why is it that with my face setup for unlocking now sometimes the laptop recognizes my younger brothers face as well?
And it happens at random, not everytime he is able to do so.

Hello ! i have a Surface Pro 9 my issue is that my pen slim pen 2 wont charge at my charging port in my keyboard and i dont know why i tried to press the shortcut button but the LED light wont flash how do i fix this it wont charge and the LED light wont on if i press 5 seconds on it and i did all i can but it doesnt on and work can anyone help me. thank you
