If only people tried to actually research the process before the undergo it. I also want to freeze my eggs because I have pcos whoch could possibly pose problems later in life. I've been reading many articles to actually understand the whole process before I talk to parents about it

will be 45 next year. have a beautiful cocktail of reproductive etc issues w one doc saying just get a hysterectomy and free yourself... anyway, am about to start the whole egg freeze n ivf journey w my partner.
wish we realised earlier if not 6 years ago when we first met, that we would make it together and come to a place where we wanted to start our family.
can only hope and channel our collective good thoughts in to this now. and pray. and wait.

Why people aren't adopting? It's better for everyone in every way. We need to make adoption a more common thing in India.. It's one of the most humane thing to do.
I agree adoption can be emotionally taxing, specially with the long waiting and the complicated paper works and everything, but I think it's worth it, as compared to other options

This process was introduced for women who were dealing with ovarian cancer or something related to it..and had to undergo chemo where the chances of getting pregnant becomes less. So they came up with freezing of ovaries just as a hope to those women. Disclaimer: it's not for every women..esp if your healthy at all aspects.😅

Its done. But not suceeded. The chances of fertilization if preserved egg is less than 2%. Also it is not only very expensive but has also been observed that preserved egg fertilization lead to diffective baby birth.

Also first pragnency at 35years and on wards not recommended as risk to a woman's life is higher. At the best first child delivery must be performed between the age of 25 to 30.

Sperm preservation is easier. Because after freezing sperm just become dormant not dead or diffective. Because a few ml quantity of semen has millions of sperms out of which only one is used for test tube fertilization..Or even if all directly injected to overy.

just adopt. if you really want kids, and are willing to love them, it doesn’t matter. if you’re a woman whose life choices prevented her from having kids earlier in life, you probably know what it’s like to feel lonely and rejected by society. that’s how these kids feel.
