How far out do you need to drain the water? I only have about 20-30 ft into a front yard and the same in the back

Can you create slope by adding gravel to the start of the FD then the fabric? Giving it a slight slope and then run the pip down to a popup?

Damn, I'm stupid. I don't know if it's my adhd or my son kicking me on my back to get my attention, but I'm still not understanding. From my understanding its the slope that helps the water drain out, which is common sense imo. My issue is, what can I do to get that slope going? Your videos have been so helpful, and I've been gaining confidence to do it myself.

Maybe you should have poked a few holes into the end of the bottle to illustrate what happens when you drill holes in the end of the pop up emitter to drain the left over water.
