Proud owner of a 2021 BMW, X5 xDrive40i, M sport package...all options except luxury seat option...absolutely love it! as for the person that stated the "Gv80 is better"...I owned nothing but Hyundai and Genesis vehicles for the last 10+ years...they are good vehicles...however, from a performance, engineering, overall workmanship, and craftsmanship perspective...I believe that BMW is light-years ahead of Genesis!

I was just at York BMW last week and I looked at this car you just tested. I currently own a 2020 X5 40I Xline version. I love the M-sport option and thinking about getting the M50i which is the V8 performance model of this vehicle. Overall, I love the X5...impressive power with the inline twin-turbo six. Thanks for the good accurate review :)

you only have to move the shifter left to use the shifter knob to manually shift.. But if just press the the paddle during normal driving it will automatically manually shift. It will also automatically change back to auto mode as well which is my opinion is an ideal setup.

I have a 2017 X5 35i that's about 3/4 loaded (I don't have the LED lights, nappa leather, carbon fiber trim, M Peformance Kit, ventilated seats but I got everything else hahaha) that I really like and I'll be upgrading to the G05 model hopefully in the next 2 years.
