Fantastic video. Am going to set this up for my family tomorrow.

I get so confused as we have money coming in weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, monthly and then on an adhoc basis when my husband gets paid for jobs (he is self employed) don’t know what he will receive especially with COVID as his work has diminished rapidly :(

Am hoping one of your other videos shows how to work out what to save from each different income for bills etc.

I like this concept, but do you have a separate account for each sinking fund? If you transfer money from one acct to the other for all categories, you go into your budget planner and see how much of the total is allocated to each? I really appreciate the hard work you put into these videos. Super useful ideas!

Do you have a different savings account for each sinking fund?

I'm starting off in baby steps and I want to open a separate savings account for out of sight, out of mind savings (trying to de ide between American express savings and Ally savings).

I'm just curious for when I start organizing and saving for more later! Looking for any tips on anything savings honestly haha

Very helpful video. I do have a question that you might have answered in other videos. When you put money for sinking funds in the 2nd checking account you mentioned, do you add up what you want to save for each sinking fund and deposit it all in one lump sum? If not, how do you go about that issue?
