Restoring Your LightBurn Settings

Anytime a change is made to a preference, LightBurn creates a backup. These backups are stored on your computer and make it easy to quickly revert back to previous settings. This lets you correct changes made that you are not happy with or recover if your main preference file is corrupted.

Backing up settings in lightburn has saved me today. When we got our machine last February the first thing we did was back up factory settings on the controller. Today that saved my bacon!

Thank you sooo much... I just don't know enough to figure out what setting I probably changed that caused my problems.. I wasted material and spent a long time trying to figure it out. This fixed it. Thanks again. :)

When I send my file to burn it just causes my laser head to go sideways until it hits the rail and goes out of bounds. I've tried current position, user origin, all of them

I don't see a "load prefs backup" option when I click "file"... how else can I find/access it?

My lightburn cant connect to my laser...I'm using sculpfun s9...I had create manual but still at console said 'waiting for connection '...how to solve it

Following the advice in the video, are the controller settings also restored (homing, non-inverted axes, etc.), practically all the original parameters of the g-code board on board the engraver? (if the $$ commands from the lightburn console have been mistakenly modified)

Does it work with camera settings?

Like, I have a fiber laser with a it's own camera, and a co2 laser with its own camera

If I load the preferences, does it import the calibration setting?

Is there any way we can just get simple save settings button for all the tool bars, cuts/layer window, Art library window and so on. It is getting old having to resize every window when I open LB. For some reason no matter what I do it will not stay how I want it.
