Oh!!! I needed to hear this!
About 2 years ago during a practice circle, I tranced for what was my first time. It’s possible I’ve done this throughout my life but never acknowledged it as such (factors that influenced that was no support, a deep Southern Baptist teaching…so spent most of my younger years hiding from my truth).

Back to that first time it happened in circle, it was an incredible experience. It was the feeling of I’m there but not there. My friends said it caught all of them off guard. They said everything changed with me… mannerisms, my voice, even my face changed…
During those moments it was like I was watching from somewhere else..my mind was calm, but physically it felt like my body was not mine.

Since that time, it’s happened at least once every other practice circle (until Covid..I haven’t had the opportunity to sit in circle with people except by online and I find it hard to relax into a state needed with online).

I’ve been trying to find more information. I’m trying to find someone whom I can learn under.
I know in my heart I want to be able to further this gift and able to be authentic.

I truly am glad I stumbled on this video. It’s a form of validation for me.

I came to this late. But thank you Helen for explaining what has troubled me for far too long when listening to some Mediums and psychics. Example: I just listened to a rather known Medium/Trance Channeler here in the UK - via Youtube - whose "predictions" about China and Russia I felt were somewhat biased. That is: western-leaders/mainstream news influentially based. Inferring all the evils of the world come from these two countries alone. As so, as you rightly imply, spirit is neither religious nor political. Unless, of course, the channeling is coming from a much different source entirely 😉
