Contrary to popular belief, chemicals do not wash off textiles in the laundry! 💦 A copious amount of chemicals are commonly used on non-organic textiles, like cotton. This process starts from the growing of the plant and continues through manufacturing, where those plant fibers are turned into fabric. This residue can become toxic to our bodies while sleeping, through skin absorption or inhalation. And since we spend 26 years sleeping, that’s a LOT of exposure time!
