Cyberpunk 2077: Menu audio crackling and popping (XBSX v.1.5.2 & 1.6)

This bug still occurs in patch 1.6. Audio distortions and crackling have been common since the day one launch version.

In the menu systems, there has always been audio crackling and popping in all versions including. I get that there maybe a SMALL component of intentional crackle in the audio design, but this is NOT what the video is showing.

It's not an external audio problem, e.g. a HDMI error or bad connection. The video was captured internally on Xbox Series X, i.e. before audio output. None the less, I've tried all audio configurations on the console, and the issue persists.

Restarting the game may have an effect in minimising the problem, but because of the frequency of occurrence, it's an impractical solution. Also, when you think about it, restarting the game will stop ANY bug ... at least temporarily! ;)

It could be corrupt audio files, but the game has been reinstalled on my system so many times since it was launched, and the problem has been consistent.

Clear your local cache! Settings, storage, clear local saved games. Sync the save, all better
