Don’t do circles when you’re standing do X patterns start by doing horizontal lines to the left and come back doing horizontal rights it’ll give you a smoother paint job and you’ll cover more area. A good size flat foam sanding block would help to. Keep us updated on this car. I’m excited to see how it turns out. I’ve spray-painted a few cars. I’ve had one for 15 years. I did when I was a kid and it still looks good.

I used to do that till I figured it's a waste. I bought a gun & High Volume tank. That's the best way to paint. Rattle cans for small stuff but not a whole car.

When wet sanding issuing your hand, it’s a good idea to run your hand sideways so fingers don’t leave uneven marks at go side to side lightly with fingers up and down for best results. Hope that helps.

I did a motorcycle tank with 2000° high heat engine paint, wet sanded and clear coated it with Krylon over 25 years ago and it still looks great. Nothing wrong with using bomb cans.👍

When sanding use a piece of wood and rub around the sandpaper
