For all the people talking about rock chips. Did you see the paint before? Not exactly spray painting over a masterpiece. It was 60 bucks worth of supplies plus his time. What do you expect out of him?

Reiterating, the beater doesn’t have to look bad, just have to be willing to put in the work no one else wants to do.

I can't BELIEVE you got results that good out of spray cans; it looks AWESOME! I'd love to see updates on this car like a separate video to show the door jams and little details like blacking out the peeling trim and painting the wiper arms black. 👍🏼

You made that paint job look like you got it done at a paint shop. In fact, y'all should open up your own paint shop.

if you're thinking of doing this do yourself a favor and just buy a harbor freight gun and buy the paint by the gallon saves alot of money plus you can add hardener to the paint makes it glossy. I do this on my off-road vehicles last quite some time!!!

I did this to a Neon, and a Dodge Stealth. The Stealth is this same color, and went over a black primer, and it took 10 cans of paint to do the whole car. Looked great. As this guy said, about 4 years later, it started to flake and chip....the primer is still good though...its a good, regular automotive primer, sprayed in a booth. So at $4.77/can, the Stealth cost me $47.70 plus tax....and the $80 for the primer, but you dont have to use that primer, I just did. Coverage was fine, no tiger striping on either car, everything looked great.
