Amazon Diesel Heater Review- TWO Months Later

A few months ago I bought these cheap 12v Diesel heaters to put in our Little tiny home (School bus). And I will be honest, I am quite happy with them! They pull very low power and diesel is a dry heat so there is no moisture build-up. Totally worth the $120

Here is a list of the other tools we have used.

How nice to see a genuine, honest person doing what they love. Great work mate. As you said, everyone makes mistakes. Keep it up!

I appreciate you making videos of mistakes also. It’s refreshing seeing some honesty.

You nailed it with the first sentence. "We only share what we like..." Word of advise, keep your fuel line for the heater higher by 2" than the fuel line for the engine. Gives a safety net to get to a fuel station. Nice to see someone using these heaters the way they were intended.

extend that exhaust to the edge of your vehicle man!

You should just put the diesel heater's fuel line like 1/4 from the bottom of the tank, so you can't completely empty it just running the heater.
Also, replace the fuel line with hard tubing. That green soft tubing can collapse from the vacuum, and stop the flow.

Thank you for sharing! I have been researching diesel heaters, and so many vloggers have 30, 40, or over an hour-long video about heating. You, Sir, summed it up in three minutes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 👊🏼🤟🏼

Love your video -- super raw and honest. Dig it. I am building a Camper Van myself and when the neighbors come over excited and positive... it makes my day.

Had tons of problems running these heater in my semi until I put a check valve on the tip of my tank pick up tube .
Now it works very well

We have one wired up on our old stone house here in Scotland in the UK. It provides a heat boost in the cold mornings whilst our woodburner is warming up. We've had it about a year with no issues and only run it at 2.4 rather than the full 5.4, saves so much fuel.

I appreciate your honesty dude not everyone can look good on camera or be able to talk without messing up. Do your thing and forget the negative shit people say. Good luck with the bus and your channel.

I now have a heater in my home built camper trailer. This is way better than LP GAS heater I had . Thanks for giving me this idea.

Most genuine video on YouTube lol I’m right there with you wanting people to see the work we put it on our van. It’s a huge commitment building something like this. For us it’s already been a 6 month project! People show off projects that take way less time then ones like ours and it’s worthy to show others for your own validation but also to hopefully inspire them to take on their own projects. We’re way more capable then we typically tell ourselves and something like this shows you that. I came here cause I just finished installing our diesel heater and got an E08 . I’ll self prime and see what happens

Thanks for the review on these heaters. I just bought a 2000 express van off my local fire dept. And I am disabled about to lose my housing grant " illegally " and I've been scared that being I live in Vermont those heaters wouldn't work. But hearing you speak of how cold it is there I feel more comfortable with the whole thing. Thank you and keep up the great videos. I am a new subscriber.

So i have a skoolie. I kept my skoolie doors in the front. I love the door you have. I might do that with the handicap door.

I too hate those gas cans, almost always leak at some point during emptying! Great video, thanks. ☺️
