The Best World in Kingdom Hearts 1 ❤️

I kinda miss the awkward platforming from the first Kingdom Hearts game.

I remember Monstro, Atlantica and Hollow Bastion being a pain to traverse around when I first played the game.

The best overall world in the series for the reasons mentioned. It's the golden standard for original KH worlds. Still my favorite all these games later. From purely a gameplay perspective and not story, I think Scala ad Caelum comes the closest to giving that feeling of large, enigmatic exploration with interactivity. The Frozen Labyrinth specifically also reminds me of it (and KH1 overall) a lot, with its interactive pieces and exploration. I hope Quadratum can walk in Hollow Bastion's footsteps and really shine.

As a kid I definitely loved Hollow Bastion the most, but man it can be easy to get lost!

I replayed a little bit of it with a friend the other day, cause they were stuck on Riku, and it took me like half an hour to figure out how to get to him lol

They should have improved on the platforming and puzzle solving in KH2. Would have made it even better, but instead they made these flat less interactive lifeless worlds. I think the series as a whole could have greatly benefited from good platforming that felt challenging and rewarding. Same for puzzles.

I never considered how great KH 1 Hollow Bastion was until Smash Bros when I saw people reacting to how much they love that world. I honestly like KH 2 Hollow Bastion more.

The second best final kh world imo. The best for me is world that never was in KH DDD because it just took kh2's wtnw and buffed it to an extreme with great endbosses and interesting storyline that explains everything.
