SHORT VERSION:

- Early theme park entry and rope dropping are not recommended.
- It's best to visit during the last two hours before the park closes.
- If you can't wait until then, I recommend queuing between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, or late afternoon/early evening.

FULL VERSION:

As mentioned in the video, arriving early for theme park entry doesn't necessarily reduce wait times. You'll need to arrive at the fantasyland entrance 30 minutes before the park opens to resort guests. At opening, it's a mad dash to the queue, which isn't where you'd expect it. In the morning, people will queue outside the entrance, curving towards Storybook Circus. I recommend swiftly walking towards Storybook Circus to enter the queue, which fills up quickly. You'll see many people realising their mistake and trying to jump the queue shortly after.

Both early theme park entry and rope dropping this attraction are unpleasant ways to start the day, especially when you consider how early you need to arrive at the park. The best time to queue is in the last two hours before park closes, which isn't practical for most guests. Assuming you're not going to pay for ILLs, I'd recommend biting the bullet and queuing around 11:30 AM. The queue will be long, but so will those for most other attractions, so it might be worth taking the hit then and using the earlier hours for other attractions where queues will be drastically shorter. Alternatively, you can queue in the late afternoon or early evening (but with similar wait times), but you might consider that time better spent elsewhere. Good luck!

Having lived an hour from Disney..here’s a few recommendations
Don’t go in summer or Holidays.. go in Jan or February wh n it’s wayyy cooler.
Try to book hotels with air miles or points and save thousands.
Leave a few minutes early during fireworks or better yet watch from contemporary hotel or other place where you can beat the hordes leaving the park.
Go early to be first in park.. take a nap go back at night.
If you live in Florida the annual pass used to be a deal..
after 60 years in Florida I moved to NC mountains.. I prefer nature to theme parks but as a kid they were fun…
