Remember: Guards are not goblins. Don't use them offensively.

Guards can counter a lone valkyrie . Just place them in the middle. She wil swing away 2x the front skeleton e die. Since they have longer reach the other 2 guards atk without being hit by her. they will only be uneffective if you place them right on top of her. Guard are pretty solid defense. Very nice vid.

You missed guards can kill all single targeting unit in the game and splash damage unit if sounded properly and effectively.And ya they can kill all the single and splash damage unit only if they have the assistant of a tower.Not counting tanks cards that goes directly for the tower*

You can also use them to counter sparky, their sheilds will absorb sparky's huge damage and will take her big amount of time to take them all out...

I got a guard tip myself.

If the enemy has a wizzard crossing your bridge, place the Guards aiming the centre of the wizard. They'll split up 2 to 1
the wizzard will have to hit twice one side with the other still harmless.
So far, is the cheapest and most effective wizzard-bridge-crossing counter i've had so far
