I'm about halfway through Mexican Gothic at the moment and really enjoying it, can see how you'd miss the character. Those Landmark editions look gorgeous. Great video.

I never read "The Left Hand of Darkness" but if it makes your top ten, I will have to check it out. Also, I am 100% with you on "Sound and the Fury." Though I don't mind Faulkner now, it did take me a while to be able to finish anything by him.

I also love Thucydides. I've read it multiple times from beginning through to the end, and in parts over the years. I also enjoy audiobook readings of The Peloponnesian Wars. Can you do a video on audiobooks and, if you do use them, what are the pleasures compared to books?
