When it comes to books we can be like a radio in that we receive the author's signal crystal clear but sometimes it's just static.Lovely video!😃

I did this tag last year, it's so much fun. I just went back to see what I had put as my oldest book read, and it's Antigone by Sophokles, we had to read that in school.

I think it makes sense enjoying paperback editions! I do read my special editions but they won't leave my house because I don't want them to get scruffy in transition! So I will only really read those at home. I am also a fan of buying over borrowing and love secondhand books too. I loved the seven husbands of evelyn hugo :D and the goldfinch although I did read that one a few years ago now. I really loved a game of thrones with the multi POV but yes, it really depends on the book. I used to read more books in one sitting but these days I just don't have the time anymore :( But with romance books sometimes I will race through in a night :D

I agree with you about Dreamer’s Pool! I love it. I have Den of Wolves too. The second book in the series (I even forgot the title) is the weakest one, but I loved to read about Blackthorn & Grim’s origin stories. 💓

I hate long series 😭 Three books is the maximum amount for me. The only time I've enjoyed long series is when I was little with Harry Potter and Percy Jackson

I loved Giovanna's Room. I've been suggest Maurice by E.M Forester as a "similar" kind of book. I haven't read it, but I thought I'd pass on the rec. 😊

In re love triangles - I'm not a fan, often it's purely for the "tension" (as you mentioned), but I have a weakness for well done poly relationships <3
The oldest book I've read is Poetics by Aristotle, it's easy to remember cuz there's a big gap between that and the second oldest (probably Shakespeare) haha
Ughhh favorite authors are so hard to pick!! I feel like I must have read a good amount of an author's work to call them my favorite. I mean, Jane Austen is of course on the list, and Y. S. Lee (she wrote a fantastic historical fiction series set in Victorian London pondering the premise "What if there had been a female detective agency in 19th century England?"). I love Ekuni Kaori and would call her a favorite author, but none of her books I've actually rated 5 stars...?? I don't make sense.

The oldest book I’ve read is, I think, poems by Sappho from ancient Greece. Of course the translating is not that old, so I’m not it counts 🤔

Aww this was so funny 💜 mhm regarding an old book/story by publication date would be anything by Jane Austen, also Frankenstein and Robinson Crusoe because that one was published in 1719 🤭 but ofc it depends on the edition. I hope you are doing well Mary ✨ tons of hugs

Hi sister Mary!!!🌻 how you’ve been doing lately??
I like watching these qna/tags type of videos as they’re both informative and relaxing at the same time. Loved this video as always.💌
Also that “love triangle” thing you showed…was something that I could never think of…😅😂
