How to migrate SCCM Client to the new Site Server

How do you deal with the boundaries if you're migrating small groups at a time? Once they are in the new site they'll require that their IP be in the new site's boundaries, so if you're going to migrate in groups they'll need to be ordered by subnet no?

Also once the clients have been migrated to another site and they have their own DP and MP how can you change that part on the clients ... Looking at the VB Script it's only changing the Site code, not the MP or the DP ?

Why not simply Reassign Site on the clients in the console?
