It's the person behind the staff, not the rod itself.

It's not about the staff, it's about the God who used the staff to do miracles...

Correction: It was not the palace of “a” sultan, it was the governing body of the empire for app. five centuries. I was also very skeptical when i first saw these items in the treasury. Nevertheless, most of them were not given as gifts but taken over during the time of Selim the II. while he led the big campaing into Egytp and brought the “holy items” and the title of “khalifa” to Topkapı Palace. So, there is a possibility that some of these items were given over to him by Memluks in Egypt with their alleged titles. I do not think that the Ottomans really questioned whether these titles were real or not.

Moses did as God instructed him to do. That’s what performed the miracles. Proof? As power hungry as today’s leaders are…would such a tool be in a museum?

HS. No one knows where Moses was buried. Petra indeed. The staff is full of power from the Most High...it couldn't just sit in a museum. Ridiculous

When speaking of the rod with serpents wrapped around it, to be presented to any of the Israelites who had been bitten by snakes in the wilderness, the writer of the Book of Wisdom said this:

Wisdom 16:12 - For it was neither herb, nor mollifying plaster that healed them, but thy word, O Lord, which healeth all things.

"Thy word, O LORD, which healeth all things!" Wow! I LOVE that. And I'm reminded of this Psalm.

Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name
Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities
Who healeth all thy diseases
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles'

The staff of Moses was heavily charmed when it was in his hands. In the hands of anyone else, it would be a "Walking Stick." There is no one in Turkey who is "Charmed." In fact, using "Magic" is punishable by death in the Quran. The ONLY one in history who could NEVER be charged with "Kufr" was King Suleiman. He was given a supernatural family of 3500 Jinns. It could be the real staff. How would you know?
