The problem is our understanding of the words in genesis. There’s no way Moses knew the events of Genesis unless God showed him. The six days could be metaphorical, humans concept of time is based on our own time in this world. To God who is eternal, what would be one day in God’s perspective? Compared to eternity, one billion years might seem like one single day. If that’s the case then God could have very well have taken 6 billion years to create everything but to him, it might have just felt like 6 days. Or maybe he just dumbed it down to our level so that we could begin understand somethings at least. If that is really what happened then Genesis is basically God’s recollection of events made known to Moses and recorded by Moses. Evolution of everything else could have happened during that time. Again our understanding of things is limited to our knowledge. There is evidence of a time when it rained on earth for years on end too, could have been when Noah was around. Again the words in genesis are true, it is us who are deciphering it into our own limited scope of understanding and knowledge, that are wrong.

45 years ago I attempted to reverse engineer the Ark circuitry and came to some logical conclusions based on information that is recorded in the Bible. It can be easily studied by anyone else who has an intense desire to do so.

(If you have a minor background in electronics or communication systems, you will much better understand what I am going to say here. This is just theory, but all the pieces do fit pretty good.)

 The ARK, and the entire Tabernacle enclosure, were working together as one coherent communication unit. They were ingeniously disguised for simplicity and quiet long life, with no moving parts, and the people that operated it didn't have the slightest clue as to what they had actually built.

The outside "golden Tabernacle" box acted like a directional antenna system, much like a modern day wave guide. And It was imperative that it always be oriented in the EXACT same direction each time it was set up and assembled, because the input signal was always coming from a specific point, and out of sight.

The signals were directly coupled to the Ark unit through the long poles that were "never to be removed" from the sides of the Ark box, and the "radio operator" wore a very specialized and ornate jewel encrusted uniform, designed to demodulate the carrier wave. ( I used to build simple crystal radios as a kid too! lol)

The part of the system that was the most diabolically ingenious was the Ark power supply. The "Cheribum" that were positioned at each end of the Ark lid spread out their "wings" toward each other. But they probably did not actually touch, thus producing a small "spark gap" through which an electrical discharge could jump. (Perhaps acting like a primitive spark gap transmitter?).

The actual source of the silent and unending power to supply the "machine" for hundreds of years, was completely beyond the understanding of Moses and his brother, who operated the technical system. 

The ARK box was designed to be a combination of high voltage capacitor for storing the accumulated energy, and it was also acting as a simple "betavoltaic type" nuclear battery to produce the initial high voltage charges, using a constant radioactive source of decay. (If you don't know what that is, just look it up.)

It took me quite a long time to figure out the actual "secret" as to how the power system worked, but the Bible is great at giving out a lot of very important little clues. And ALL the clues add up to something being very radioactive hidden inside that little box.

At first I thought it was the actual stone tablets. But Moses had actually broken the first set of tablets that were given to him in a fit of anger, when he first came down the mountain, and he then had to bring up another raw "blank set" to be re- inscribed with the 10 commandments.

 And BOTH sets of these stones were individually inscribed with the mysterious "Finger of God"...

That "finger" was most likely a tool that secretly deposited a highly radioactive element of some type", directly onto those inert stone plates. 

The invisible power of the Ark of the Covenant may have been LITERALLY hidden in the words on the stone tablets!

When Moses came down from the Mount, his hair was whitened and his skin had an abnormal color from direct exposure to "whatever" he was carrying. He had to hide himself away. He then later gathered all the necessary pieces and built the whole Ark/Tabernacle apparatus exactly according to God's precise blueprints.

 He put the innocent looking (yet highly dangerous) power source inside, and thereafter was able to "talk with "God" anytime he needed!

Decades later, the ARK was eventually moved to Solomon's Temple which was a scaled up version and probably gave the system a lot more range.

That's my guess, until some one else proves me wrong in technical terms I can understand.

You will find the ark of the covenant in my kitchen junk drawer alongside unused birthday cake candles, out of date kitchen appliance manuals, no longer used phone chargers, batteries, an unused diary, some rolls of cotton and those freezer bags I can't even remember buying
