11. Do not desire to be a priority in someone else’s life.
12. Be a priority in your own life.

This line is stuck in my mind now "It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it" .

Yes
I am starting out the New Year single.
I was dating a man and the more I listened to these videos I found him unwilling to change. I noticed that his needs were s priority in our relationship and I was the " selfish one ".
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed his company yet I have already raised my children and didn't need a
💭🤔 Man child to raise and told him that my time was just as valuable as his.
So I broke up with him.
At first I was sad yet after much meditation and reflection I realized I was better off.
So I am moving forward with my life and am going to celebrate the rest of my natural days of life I have left. I am 70 year's old and I would rather be by myself than with a person who didn't value me.
Have a great New Year. I hope the desire of your heart comes to pass.

I play this every day.. to remember, to forgive, but stay away from toxic relationships.. people who do not respect someone who is kind, caring, generous and more.. understanding who's worth my time..we all should listen to this and most important, to apply this in our life..to remember how valuable we are, we, the people who treat others with respect but not getting that in return..is the ultimate goal of life as Freedom and be Free!

Thank you. These are some important lessons, ones which I'd learnt years ago. Learning when to walk away, for me, is one that resonates deeply. After 2.5 years with my GF, after doing everything to make her happy, for her to feel loved, often at great emotional, physical and financial cost, to then often not get much in return other than disappointment, the feelings of failure, unhappiness, anxiety, I should have been stronger and walked away, instead, I tried and tried to make us work before I was dropped like a lead weight. Never again shall I give so much of myself, never again shall I try to find my hapiness in others, at 42, its time I look within.

I needed to hear this today. I have been accepting less than I deserve because I lack my own self respect. I know I'm worth more, and need to start acting like it❤️

1) 2:20 The Art of mystery ( reveal yourself slowly, don’t tell them everything at once)
2)4:05 Show your value ( things that are easily available to us we take for granted, things that take effort we appreciate)
3) 7:10 create your own happiness (your joy doesn’t depend on others, find happiness in your own not relying on others)
4) 9:54 Be valuable & let others invest in you (be valuable to one self first, when you focus on your value others will value you too, recognizing your worth)
5) 12:51 Live your own life ( creating a fulfilling life for yourself, not relying on anyone)
6)15:52 Prioritize your own needs (self care and self needs)
7) 18:55 value your time and your presence
8) 21:30 Balance in ( not always leading the action, stepping back and allowing others to take initiate first)
9) 24:25 Maintain emotional balance
10) 27:37 Be willing to walk away

Such wisdom . The best thing to do if a relationship is not working is to cut ot out and walk away from it . I have done it in the past . And i moved on .

These days I walk away or I tell people to go away. Its healthy and really brings up the self esteem. Let them miss you should be another Stoic theme .

Remember that you’re worthy enough, know your value, be the real you, the authentic you, and you’ll attract the right person in your life ❤.
