Fixing ceramic: How to fix broken mugs with epoxy

👉Let's fix chipped or cracked ceramic with epoxy and pastels.

🔬When epoxy mixes with pastel powder, it fills in the gaps and secures chipped pieces with a color-match. It's amazing how the cured mixture resembles ceramic and gives a seamless look. Watch this video to see how to do this fix.

👉 Supplies needed
Utility knife or X-acto knife
Scrap cardboard or plastic
Rubbing alcohol and a cloth

Safety note: epoxy isn't a food-safe chemical until it's fully cured. So be cautious when working with the chemical, and keep it away from food prep areas. And wear gloves while working fixing ceramic or anything else with epoxy.

Aapoxy is not food grade. Can you place repaired ceremic cups or dishes
with apoxy glue can be placed in microwave?

You can regulate the cure time with epoxies by adjusting the amount of curing agent. Usually it is set so you have the correct chemical ratios.
