I wish my heart could be repaired as beautifully as that broken plate.

It’s great seeing an actual kintsugi repair instead of the trend I’ve been seeing on glue and gold paint

Read one of the comments as " wow that looks so much better than it would've before it broke" and made me realize the same is true with us humans may not see it but we come out as stronger and a better version of ourselves everytime we fall in life...be it heartbreak, losing a loved one, financial loss or anything that life throws us to all of us!! Each one of us is unique and to the Human Race!!! 🎉🎉❤❤

In Japan, There is a tradition called "kintsugi" where u repair a broken item using gold. This is done to teach us, that we should always embrace our flaws.❤

I love this. I learned about this art form long ago and wrote a poem about it. Every time I think of breaking down, all I remember is that you can always fix things, and sometimes, a broken item that is fixed is more beautiful than the original.

It doesn’t matter how broken you might be. There’s always gold lacquer out there in the universe to fix you ☺️❤️

I LOVE this concept in Japanese culture. The act alone is so poetic and helped me through depression when I first learned of it years ago. Beautiful!

I've seen repaired pieces and I always wondered how they used gold to hold together. But they don't glue covered with gold! Love it! Now I can learn!

I love this method. I think kintsugi is just beautiful. And it’s way better than throwing away broken dishes.
