My wife used to do some pretty wild things while sleepwalking. She once drove her car to work and called me asking me how she got there, she used to stand next to my side of the bed and just watch me sleep, she tried to hit me with a bat once, and once she woke me up to tell me I needed to go check the laundry room because “he” was in there and wouldn’t leave… fun times

Unfortunately my dad did the title card. He is unfortunately an addict and was sleep walking under the influence of meds. He walked onto the Subway tracks in an UNDERGROUND station. In Chicago we have some above ground. How he even got down the stairs I don't know. But he walked onto the tracks and thanks to some good samaritans, just avoided stepping onto the electrical part of the track. Thankfully no train was coming either.

During my child hood I believe I experienced sleep-walking cause only once in my lifetime I woke up in the middle of the night sitting on my bed, and knew I was laying down prior to that. At the time I was quite confused to why that happened. So it's hard to understand how sleep-walking works, but I'm thankful I didn't end up causing any harm to myself or to anyone else. I also hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.

i used to sleepwalk as a kid, never did anything dangerous though. i'd just wander the house, and once i creeped my parents out by standing over their bed just staring at them

My neighbor “claims” he was sleep walking one morning he turned off my truck while it was defrosting in the driveway

My old boss woke up as he was in the process of falling over the railing in a hotel room. He managed to grab hold of it and pull himself back. They later went through the route from the bedroom to the balcony, and it turned out to be the exact same route from the bedroom at home and out to the bathroom. He had been sleepwalking to get to the toilet, and instead he almost killed himself.

I slept walked once sleeping over at a friend's house. Didn't know till the next morning when her older brother said I had walked into his room and was going through his drawers before I just wandered back out. I didn't remember any of it lol

Sleep walking murder is the weirdest thing I have heard- and it was a legit case!

My stepfather at the time, would take Ambien and alcohol and would sleep walk around the house naked and start fights with me and my mom and make a mess of the house. He even brought out his gun one night and dared me to shoot him. I'm so glad hes out of our lives because he was so unpredictable and scary.

My uncle used to sleep walk really badly and one night he got dressed, climbed out the window, got in his car, drove to a local gas station, bought a sandwich and chocolate milk and woke up in the high school parking lot (I believe he was a senior at the time)

The state you are in when sleepwalking is robotic. You can be compelled to do a lot of weird things. You can also remember the experience if you wake up during the process. I think it's dangerous. Anyone who might be sleep walking needs an alarm on their door so they don't accidentally leave the house.

I came sleepwalking out of my room when I was a kid carrying my blankets. I threw them down on the ground and started stomping on them. When my mother asked what I was doing, I said 'there's a mouse in my blanket'. I then picked it up and went back to bed.

I have heard and seen with my own eyes some of the craziest things said and done while taking ambien. It is a very strong and I would say dangerous sleep aid

I pulled my eyebrows out in my sleep about a year ago and they've yet to grow back fully.
