Nope, European countries are ok to buy natural gas from Russia, and would prefer to buy from Russia than from USA, which would not make sense economically but also environmentally.
As for the inflation, it has nothing to do with the Ukrainian crisis or the sanctions, it has to do with the past financial decisions taken when they issued money like never before during the past 2 years which results in devaluation of both € and $!

Some European enterprises are forced to close due to a shortage of cheap energy from Russia, writes The Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, European factories cannot compete with factories from the United States and the Middle East, as energy prices there are significantly lower than in Europe. The newspaper notes that today gas in European markets is almost three times more expensive than in the US.


Consumer prices in the euro area in May increased by 8.1% in annual terms. Information about this press service of the Statistical Office of the European Union published on its website.

According to the final assessment of the statistical office, this level of price increase is the highest since the beginning of the calculation of data in this region with a turnover in euros. Inflation in the euro area accelerated relative to April, when the rate was fixed at 7.4%.

A year earlier, inflation in the eurozone was only 2% per annum in May.


The Slovak thinker and politician, member of the Slovak Parliament from the Slovak National Party, PACE member Sergei Helemendik, in an interview with the Czech and Slovak press in 2014, expressed the opinion: “The EU today is a US colony. These concerns are not only sanctions, but literally everything. The goals of US policy in Europe are: centrally through the EU AND EURO CURRENCY to plunder Europe with the help of numerous financial pyramids and frauds, and the main pyramid was and remains the US dollar; to pit Europe and Russia against each other and cause a new big war that saves the United States, and then write off all its debts FOR WAR, build new Marshall plans, plunge war-torn Europe into a new debt bondage. I want to emphasize this with a thick red line - the United States is openly and purposefully preparing worlds war, this is their only alternative today, and a world war, in order for it to really be a world war, can only break out in Europe as a clash between Europe and Russia. I look at the world from a psychological perspective (if you are a parent of adult children, you will get my point. If you have no kids, do not read further).
Premise: if no adult watches over the kids, who play wars, sooner or later these kids WILL hurt one another. They are - kids! THEY have no frontal lobe to think about potential negative outcomes.
And, the usual mistakes will happen: “let’s find the one who started the fight, and punish him”. usually, it doesn’t work, because ALL the involved kids point fingers at each other. AND, what good does it do anyway- the damage is done: pain, hostility, torn clothes, bloody noses.
Usually, we look at the ROOT OF THE PROBLEM, to figure out what caused it, and to prevent it in future.
Common sense? The whole world knows this formula.
Let’s put this formula onto the current world affairs: IS there ANY adult behavior among the politicians?
Adults act (well, expected to) responsibly, thinking about potential outcomes, about OTHERS; they TALK TO EACH OTHER. They LISTEN; they COMPROMISE!!!!
Kids act, like kids🤷🏼‍♂️: ME is more important than others; I WANT precedes the wants of others; give ME; I don’t care; … and IF I CAN’T get what I want, I will throw tantrums: fight, yell, cry, threaten, throw things and break them, even bang my head on a wall (hurting myself).

So, which country is showing childish behavior and which acts like an adult?!
Hint/hint: Russia is not the only kid in this game.

Summary: if WE let kids decide our adult affairs, how can we blame the kids for causing wars?
Yes, friends: we - the people who elected kids to be our leaders, WE ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE!
That is why, we all suffer today. Ukraine is just one “kid” who got bloody nose. The others will suffer too, …. Very soon.
How do we stop this nightmare: call your politicians in your county and demand to start LISTENING to the other countries; stop dangling weapons and threats! Strat COMPROMISING!!!
