People annoy me when they say that Daemon never loved Rhaenyra or Laena. As if, because he's a flawed character, he could not love. That's presumptuous and lacks depth. It does a disservice to the character and the overall story by acting like some of the biggest players are completely one dimensional.

There's a whiplash effect every time it switches between an image of her from the books to the show. Valyrians all look like Celtic or Germanic gods or goddesses. In the show they look like the descendants of Calypso.

If they had to change ANY familyni dont get why it had to be the velaryon who Wer supposed to be the most similiar to targaryens. Aegon I. was half velaryon. Are they gonna make HIM biracial too? Valyrians just arent black. They should have made some other house black (preferr it to not change anything, but nowadays you cant expect that)
