The more I hear from the far woke left, the more I see parallels with super religious social conservatives. Yes, the people they despise. Both groups evangelize. The idea of original sin, that is inherited by birth, is not dissimilar to the concept that white people bear the burden of guilt just by being born.

I'm a Gen Xer. When I was growing up in the Midwest, I had friends from all races and creeds. We weren't being actively separated by our race. We have taken such huge steps backwards in race relations .

Fiscal conservatism is not about personal greed.
It is about curtailing the government's irresponsible overspending.
As far as social programs go, what problems have been solved?
Take homelessness for example.
Tens of billions have been funneled into government programs to address the issue in California alone and it has only gotten worse.

Almost every fiscally conservative person I know (including myself) gives a very large portion of their money to various charities. Nature conservation, supporting schools in inner city areas, medical research, etc. Guess who benefits from that - EVERYONE!

🙋‍♂ So colour, gender and sexuality are the primary qualities that should be considered in government candidates over integrity, honesty, intelligence and managerial skills. Perhaps that explains why so many communities are declining and sinking into black holes of despair.

I am a social liberal and fiscally somewhat conservative. I mean that we can't just make new social programs without figuring out how we'll pay for them. There is also a lot of bloat in government as well as too many bureaucrats justifying their existence by making everyone's life difficult.
