How SNL Mocked the Menendez Brothers Recounting Sexual Abuse

In 1993, SNL made a sketch on the Menendez trial, where John Malkovich played Lyle Menendez. The sketch parodied the brothers' testimony of sexual abuse and ridiculed their emotions.

All the laughters are from the actual SNL skit. I just removed the dialogue, replaced it with the real things Lyle Menendez said and left the laughters in.

This is sick. These boys weren’t faking their abuse. They were athletes, not trained actors. What you are seeing is coming straight from the pain in their hearts. As a victim we get all the shit that it’s all made up, well we have a keen eye for clocking people who make up these stories, and those boys were not lying. They should have been set free years ago.

This is disqusting. John Malkovich and other public figures of that time, who chose to mock, diminish and deride the brothers' testimony like this, should be made to publically apologize all these years later. The insensitivity, ignorance and sheer cruelty is frightening..
