Alternatively, when all else fails.
1. Put on protective goggles
2. Take sledgehammer.
3. Take aim and swing sledgehammer towards computer.
4. Ensure sledgehammer strikes computer squarely.
5. Buy new computer :(
6. Install Microsoft office.
7. Configure Outlook with same settings.
8. Send email.

This does not work in the latest Windows 10 because when you click on Account Settings the second time the dialogue box is different so how do I remedy this error code?

Doesn't work. I keep getting the error. Also, the "more settings" does not appear.

Same thing... the second dialogue box is not what you say it is!

Aqui temos uma rede de computadores e todos estavam com esse erro.
Foi resolvido desativando o firewall e o windows defender na máquina do servidor...

You can get to that dialog box from Send / Receive, Send / Receive Groups, Define Send / Receive Groups, All Accounts, Edit. Then select account of choice and Account Properties, Outgoing Server. Complicated, eh?

Yes, Win 10 put all this behind the "Repair" function. But when that doesn't work...
