In low-humidity areas, evaporating water into the air provides a natural and energy-efficient means of cooling. They must pay you ALOT of money to get you to lie about this thing. I live in a tiny 11x13 studio apt. I thought this thing would FOR SURE cool my place down. Guess what? It didn't, it doesn't and it won't! Even with the frozen water bottles in the "7 gallon tank"... it's nothing like what this video says. First, it's NOT a "7 gallon" tank. It's barely a 3... the only way i stay cool is to sit right in front of it. Oh.. and on button says "humidifier" .. That's so wrong. What does a hot room plus moisture equal? HUMIDITY! Who wants to have some 90° moist air? Not me. That's why I don't live in the south! I live in Washington state and this thing doesn't cool down ANYTHING. I walked in after leaving for a while and when i walked in, my place felt like a flipping sauna! It was so hot and humid, it was hard to breathe. My poor cat ran outside the minute I got home...AND HE'S A INDOOR CAT! Anything that could make him leave his kingdom.. it must have been really hot. The only thing i like is that it has wheels. That way i can roll it where ever I go!
