Probably a silly question but the owners manual does not mention filling the ice crystal boxes with water. However there is a Max fill line on them. Do I add water to these ice crystal boxes or not ?

Hi do you just put the plastic bottles to freeze as they are, or you must open the bottles and fill it with tap water then put in freezer

Tried 2 of these units bought through Home Depot. Both leaked over the sides of the tank. Which will be all over your floor. Hoses on the pump and element have tiny zip clips not clamps. Don't know if this is their problem, took them back. Junk. Chinese junk. Typical.
