Just a small point. The video kept saying that the sons of Edward I with Margaret of France (Thomas of Brotherton and Edmund of Woodstock) were Edward II step-brothers, but they were not. They were his half-brothers. They all had the same father, Edward I.

I'm also a history buff. I was doing my ancestry a few years ago on an obscure side and I saw some names I recognized and I got excited! It's not a big deal to be related to someone famous or a past king or queen but it's kind of cool to be able to do it. Just my luck. Traced it to John Lackland! 🙄 One of the worst kings England ever had! I was telling my daughter and she was pretty small at the time and she said "is that the bad guy in Robin Hood?" I sighed it and said "yes it is" she said "can we just not tell anybody then?" 😆

Richard the Lionheart was the worst. Hated his own country, avoided it, his responsibilities, and to top it all off failed to take the Holy Land. He had every talent England needed, but like a child he wanted to play war instead of being responsible. England would pay much for what Richard did AND did not do.

Edward II is a great example of how hereditary heirs can go bad. Say what you will about how brutal Edward I could be, but he was definitely one of the strongest Kings England ever had, and his son was the polar opposite.

The number of historical errors in the Richard III segment should be a great embarrassment to whoever uploaded this video. If I were your history teacher, and you clearly need one, you'd fail.
