Debris Netting is pretty good for keeping the butterflies off your brassicas. Ideal with your hoops.

I’ve read that it can be more beneficial to grow cabbages and other cool season crops in the fall for better taste and less big issues. A light row cover cloth will keep those insects off, also interplanting nasturtiums and marigolds. It’s good practice to plant herbs and flowers in with food crops for integrative pest management, flavor enhancing, and different roots systems that work together. When food crops are planted in mass rows or plots it attracts the non- beneficial insects. It’s like hanging out a Singh that’s says green meal all you can eat. :) happy gardening. I like to make a small trench in my garden and add composting worms along with weekly vegetable scraps and keep it covered with straw. The roots of the vegetables, herbs and flowers find the food source, works like magic. If it gets windy there you might want to dig a small ditch along the sides and bury the plastic when your refill
